Meet Macy

Macy is a sweet, confident, and outgoing girl who absolutely loves everyone she meets. She has an easygoing personality and quickly makes herself at home-especially if there’s a comfy chair or couch available for lounging! Macy enjoys being around people and is happiest when she can relax nearby and soak up attention.

Macy has previously lived successfully with both cats and other dogs and has shown herself to be a social, friendly companion. She has also shown no signs of food or toy guarding while in care.

Macy does have seasonal allergies that will require ongoing management. Her previous owner reported that Cytopoint injections worked well for her, and she will likely need monthly Cytopoint injections long-term to help keep her comfortable or daily Zenrelia. Currently, Macy is receiving medicated baths twice weekly along with daily Zenrelia for her allergies. Her future family should be prepared to continue working with their veterinarian to manage her skin and allergy needs for seasonal allergies.

Macy would also will need regular daily walks and exercise to help with her weight and overall health. She enjoys getting out and about and will thrive in a home committed to keeping her active while also giving her plenty of cuddle time afterward.
