Meet Janice Hoplin

Janice Hoplin is a sweet bun with a sensitive heart who is still learning to feel safe in her world. When she first arrived in foster care, she was quick to explore her space, investigating her environment. She was wary of new sounds, changes, and unfamiliar movement, and showed signs of being unsure and overwhelmed as she adjusted.

With time, patience, and consistency, Janice has already begun to settle. She is very food motivated, which is helping build trust, and she’s responding well to calm routines, gentle voices, and a predictable environment. As she becomes more comfortable, her true personality is starting to shine through - her foster believes she is genuinely friendly and happy to be around humans beneath the stress and uncertainty.

Janice is still sensitive to change and would do best in a quiet, calm home with an experienced rabbit adopter who understands how to support nervous rabbits through transition and decompression. She will need patience, gentle handling, and an environment where she can feel secure - including having her own defined space that is hers and hers alone.

At this time, Janice would not be suited for a home with children or loud, high-energy animals. As her confidence and nervous system continue to settle, her comfort level may change, but for now she needs a peaceful, stable setting where she can continue building trust at her own pace.
